This definitive booklet addresses how to discern authentic faith from the counterfeit and the stages by which Christ's work of salvation is realized in our lives.
Can we be sure that we are truly saved?

Scripture teaches that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, because of Christ alone. So we can rest assured that salvation is ours at the very moment of our conversion, at the very moment we repent and believe. Yet how do we know that we have genuinely repented and believed?

In this definitive booklet, Mark Talbot notes the scriptural signs of true conversion. He discusses the order of salvation--the stages by which Christ's objective and finished work is applied to us--and how to discern authentic faith from the counterfeit. Though all the steps of conversion result from the Holy Spirit's work in our lives, we must each deliberately and consciously turn to God--cognitively, emotionally, and willfully--each day so that we may bear the fruit of genuine faith.

I think some people on this forum need to grow up. I have read some of the things the younger people of the forum write and some of it is a joke.

The only time I mention my racing is to bring some people back down a little and to show I am doing something and can prove it not just telling stories.

Spider. I was not saying your bike is {EB}y i said it was cheap. You do mention a lot about how fast it is and you beat this and the other and some of it sounds like kids in a playground. My srx is geared for acceleration and with low tourque would be much faster off the line than yours. But that is not the point. I bought a 400 single so that I could go to work and save on petrol and have a realiable bike that would last the time. I have a race bike to go fast on.

Simon. I have noticed you say you are a really good rider and ride all kind of bikes. how old are you? I was lead to believe you are about 16? Is this correct? This means that you shouldn't be riding on the road racing a CB500 and in my opionion is a bit silly. The stories you tell seem far fetched and not very mature. Street racing is silly and if you want to race why not get on the track? This site does not want to be looked down upon because the users condone illegal activities and is overrun by general chit chat.

Jamie. I know we have our mesing about but it had been getting out of hand a little and we have tried to pack in. the last few days we have been doing ok.

I try not to delete all posts about these things and do bite back and have my say. I try not to slag people off too much but do give my opinion as everyone does on a forum.

If I deleted all posts not on topic of slagging people off then there would be very few posts and no-one would come on. I dont want to see peole leave the site or gett banned.

I know you dont listen to me but Dan has put me in charge for a reason. He is a very busy man and has left me with a responsability. We do not need anymore mods and I dont know what the deal is about. It is a job. Not for abusing.

Dan

Thank you for that Mark. I agree 100% with everything you have said.

I set this site up as a project... simply to build a site that users will find useful and that grows into something nice and popular, which it has. I pay for everything... I have it hosted, pay for the domain renewals.. everything, all because I like to have projects like these on the go. But I feel at the moment that certain people are just taking the ****, and trying to disrupt things in here.

I want nothing from this site or its users, but I'll say this now, any user, no matter how long they have been a member, who continually posts off-topic and generally doesnt follow the rules of the forum will get banned. I would rather have fewer quality threads than piles of off-topic crap. Im not aiming this at any users in particular - this is for everyone.

It all stops now! Take it in any way you want, if you dont like it then dont log onto the site.

Just in case it isnt clear, general chat that is not related to the forum you are in, goes in the Romford Market forum. Once = warning, twice = ban.

No more posts simply saying LMAO, LOL, I AGREE... etc. They are pointless and do not contain anything useful for any other member. Do it once, you will be warned. Do it again, you will be banned.

No harsh swearing. I understand we have a few younger members, but adult use of certain swear words are perfectly acceptable. If any moderator considers your use of swearing as offencive, you will be warned and then banned.

NO abuse of any other member is permitted. There are no warnings for this, you will instantly have your account revoked. PM a moderator and direct your thoughts to them so it can be dealt with. Abuse does not mean small digs, considered as a laugh, but know when to stop.

We cannot condone or be seen to be condoning any illegal activities. Both myself and Mark are trying to build this site into something that its members can benefit from; discounted clothing, track days, accessories, training etc. and to do so the reputation of the site has to remain high. You all know that Essex Police are behind this site 100%, so why you feel you have to be so thoughtless as to post about things like illegal street racing, i'll never know. But again, this stops now.

That seems a bit harsh dan... but ur the boss

Tark

But do you agree with the rest?

I may Jump in and Say I will delete any of the LOL and stuff and perhaps not enforce a ban over it.

But just please dont do it as much.

Tip. try and say more than just the LOL and make your post more detailed!

That seems a bit harsh dan... but ur the boss

Ok, the scenerio - someone posts a genuine thread. A user replys with I AGREE! or LOL... the original poster then gets an email, logs onto the forum all to see that the reply is a complete waste of time. It ****es me off, so it must do the same to others.

There are exceptions, in the Joker forum for example - a simpe LOL is fine, as thats the only reponse you can give half the time.

Do you not see what im getting at? Every forum other than HELLOO, Romford market and Joker are only to be posted in with relevant information... and simple one-two word replys are not relevant most of the time.

Hi guys,

Have just read this thread and i have to applaud Mark and Dan for their enlightened comments.....

I know i'm the oldest female in here and so sometimes act the mother hen role - but agree that potentially this site has great things to offer young riders in the area....

We all love a laugh (proof being my new boots thread on members pics! LOL) but the main reason i come in here is that it is great to see young new riders just starting out on a life involving bikes - to whatever degree - Also for that reason - I will try to attend as many race meets as is possible next season for those of you that partake - Call me old fashioned - and you probably will! - but i go into other bike sites that have an intense dislike of young riders that seemingly misuse their ability to own and ride smaller machines.....Dont prove them right fellas - but instead make this site a place to prove 'em wrong.....

All i see in here are basically good people with a common interest - bikes - irrespective of age or ability - so lets keep it that way and enjoy every minute!

OK OK! I'm putting me soap box away as we speak alright?! lol
