View Full Version : a little help needed with my ninja plz

just got back from a short ride on my zx636-c1 ninja. Half way through the ride i come to a round about and go to indicate and my indicator comes on but does no flash like it is supposed to.
I am useless when it comes to electrics so if anyone can give me a simple solution to how to fix this i would be very grateful.

Do both back and front bulbs work...........or has one of them blown.

If so change the bulb that has blown

No they all work they just dont flash off and on, they stay on untill i turn them off

Sounds to me like the flasher unit has gone then................there is another name for it but I cant think what it is called

its strange tho coz they work (flash) with the alarm.

I dont think it is an expensive job to do if its the unit that has gone, a couple of quid or so for the unit and it just plugs in..............

Halfrauds sell Kwaka ones, not much money at all, very easy fix, will probably be a remove seat unit job, not too bad.

The alarm does not use the flasher unit to flash the indicators, it just pulses a signal to the lamps.

Flasher unit is just a pull out, plug in type unit. Sure if you are having problems, a local will help you out...
