View Full Version : Clean Bike!
Just cleaned my bike today for the first time since i bought it in october!
Look slovely! Autosol does wonders for metal bits! Real shiney wheels!
I will post pictures up asap.
Tip of the week: Keep you chain clean, oiled and correct tension and it will last much longer!

lol me and simon cleaned my bike today! first we took off my dodgy rear indicators and put the little black foam bits back in gonna ride with no rear indicatiors for a while used a few cable tyes and wire to sort out the lose fairing at the end! and hey presto then us beeing lazy went down to the garage and used a presure washer to clean the bike whilst having fun spraying eachother with the hose! me bike now looks alot cleaner! she looks a buety! then prooved her worth against a CB500
your front indicators will go twice as fast now wont they?
A CB500 is a twin and does not have that much power. About 50 something i think? What your 250 putting out? You should get it to the dyno!

yeh im with simom on the SALT! where the F**K do u live?
DONT forget SALT is bad for the paint work as it can help it fade quicker n sometimes stain in patches, makes the polished parts go milky looking and will make metal rust quicker!
any metal use 'auto sol' and paint a good polish n 'wax'.
dont think u need it as u had resently cleaned it!

ncik we will just have 2 go clean it again
yey i get 2 squirt u again wit the power washer!!!
WTF do you think Gritters are?
Salty water freezes at a lower temp than normal water so by putting salt on the road (or Grit as the industrial stuff is) makes sure that the road does not freeze over when its cold.
Thats why my jacket looks like it has dried up salt all ove rit cos the salty water off the road has dried up.

yeh i knew wot u were on about just didnt no they were putting it down yet!
that shii is dangerous for bikers as u can slip on the grit.
MY BIKE AINT GOING ON THE ROAD TILL A NICE DRY DAY!!! (but **** happens!) coz i dont think its been a good day when u come back n have to sit there washing n polishing ya bike again to keep it mint!
I would rahther slip on grit than slip on ice!
