View Full Version : New bike!
Hey people.
I've gone and done it.
I was orignially after a K7 750 but ended it up with a BUELL!
I've always lovd em and after poping into Stratstone in Walthamstow I fell in love with it.
Sounds wicked and handles fantastic.
Slightlly different to the CBR but hey. I like it.

Nice mate... I was chatting to a chap who's had one for a while. Had a sit and a rev as you do. Was really impressed at how balenced it feels. He reccomended dropping the forks 10mm..... Although I guess it only suits some people.
Whats the milage like and service intervals? Being a harley engine I guess its a bit different

I've heard that they use 2 pieces of flint instead of spark plugs - Is is true? :grin2
Seriously though, they are great looking bikes - I could be really tempted by one...
The new ones have the 1200cc Rotax engine in and I guess once the teething problems are resolved, they will be stonking bikes.

Being Harley owned, I take it those are all the spares you'll need for it in your car behind it.
:grin1
(Seriously ...... Nice bike. I've rode my mates and they are great fun. Just wouldn't want to do a trip further than about 100 miles on one)

BEST LOOKING NEW BIKE I'VE SEEN IN A WHILE. RIDE SAFE. :rockon
Cheers people.
Thanks for the comments
It had 2895 when I got it on the 10th.
It's not got around 3300.
It's an 05.
1 Owner with a Stage 1 kit.
Sounds fantastic.
Paid just over £4.5k with brand new tyres, 6 months tax and a Warranty from Stadium in Chingford.
It's a 1203cc Thunderstorm Engine.
P.S thats my dad's old... old... car in the back, it's not been on the road since 99.
Hope to meet with some of you guys soon.
Done a few more mods today, smaller plate, frame pucks and rim tape.
Thanks again.
