hi guys
Right the thing is, i am coming up to my 2 year i call ProBation period where i can un restrict my bandit FINALLY... Anyway what it is as i might be getting a new bike someone in near future my bro might buy it he will be in probation period as well. so i mentioned about keeping it in for him untill i get new bike so saves him paying for it to be put in.
The question im asking is How easy is it to take out, as i dont wanna do it myself as i dont think i am that confident but when can i go is it that expensive etc?/?? If someone could let me no thankyou
Is your bike the injected model or the carb'd one?
If it is the injected one then you just take out the restricted ECU and put back the full biffter ECU.
The hardest part is taking off the seat, I think the unit is near the battery.

its the carb model the last carb model infact 650 on 06 plate if that helps?
Oh well..................
Still it can be done at home..........
Just take the Carbs off remove the washer from each carb (between the carb and the cylinder) and put the carbs back.
Job done.

Me again lol, phoned around looking about £60 for them to be done.
MICKTL if there is any chance of you helping me out mate and u can do it let me no mate of price and we hoepfully can sort something out, would rather give u the money to do it then a dealer
You will over double your bhp with them out. They are not a difficult bike to work on so I am guesssing the garage is charging you about an hours labour for it.
