You can tell your CHUM that its bad enough getting hassled by knobheads on 4 wheels without having some numpty with more BHP than IQ stuck up my rear end blipping this throttle.

GERTRUDE is my Honda CB750 F2 aka the winter hack. She is having her MOT tomorrow morning. Then BERNARD (the trumpet) will be put into hibernation after having his wheels removed to be powder coated in pink.

I see it all the time living in Burnham. The weekend warriors with the latest tricked up race rep and absolutely NO riding skill whatsoever! Yes the wind up the motorists, yes people like me who ride all year round pay the price. I can live with that (just).

YEP!! i only did it once unintentionally on the way to burnham, how was i to know the guy in front wasn't happy about being overtaken whilst he was getting his knee down......... end result i got punched.....when he eventually caught up with me which i think also annoyed him cos he couldnt catch up even though he was on a newer bike........

Lesson learned for me there then.... i wont do that anymore!! :laugh1

Worst off I ever had was on the bends when I had my Bandit 12. 3 guys came hammering down the first straight, 2 JUST got passed me, the 3rd guy clipped my front wheel. The bike flipped me over the hedge and I landed in a field 7inches from a metal stake sticking out of the ground.

My mate with whom I was riding couldnt make out which of the 3 guys had hit me so he threw 1 into the oncoming traffic, 1 over the hedge and knocked the 3rd out. Just to cover his bases!

Lets just hope she makes it through the MOT tomorrow. Had to go buy some beam deflectors lunchtime as she was built for the Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey market (thats France).

If she passes the MOT then its on with the heated grips and I'm all set for winter.
