Nice clean looking ZXR that, almost as clean as Jetski's :D ;)

Is that a shortened Micron can on it and is it jetted for it? :)

yeah it was a road legal micron, soon fixed that! got the baffle out and shortended it, only finished it yesterday, took 2 weeks! edit, its not rejetted

as far as the jetting goes, do you notice that you really have to give it some when pulling away and it feels like its bogging up to and around 4000rpm?

i ask because Jetski has a full Micron system and road can on hers and its completely gutless when pulling away unless you give it a proper handful :)

Ooh I missed this thread! How did that happen?

That's a lovely example DB37. What year is it?

As Mick says, if its not been set up for that system it might bog at about 4,000. I'm not particularly technically sensitive but I notice it. Pulling away with higher revs got round it temporarily. But I guess thats what he said LOL.

Its in great nick, but sorry to say mine is definately shinier! (thanks to Mick I might add!) :)

Lovely bike :love3

Must admit, your rearsets are nice.

Well you had plenty of chances!!

It took me a full week with the help from MickTLS to sort her bike out, mind that did include fitting new braided lines, changing the head bearings and servicing all the cables, actually that part of it didnt take particularly long, i spent probably 8 hours polishing the plastics alone :D

If i had the polishing toys that Mick let me use when i was at his garage for the week, trust me every bit of metal on that bike would be mirror finish, there was loads i wanted to do but i couldnt ask Mick to keep the garage open on my account :D

That reminds me, you wouldnt want a set of braided lines for that bike would you Doodlebug37?

I have an unopened set of Goodridge ones sat at home yours for £40 (thats the race type with one long line to each caliper and a rear line), they make a big difference ;)

I ordered them and they didnt turn up in time so i fitted a set that Mick had for a GSXR600 :D

Mine wasnt a flashy L model like yours!!! but i loved it none the less! i did quite a bit to tart it up! Polished Frame, Swing Arm, Wheels...errrmmm..everything! lol full scorpian system dyno'ed some other bits and bobs, better stoppers...i cant really remember to be honest! i just remember that i absolutly loved it ...and it seemed to kick all my friend at the times 400's! hehehe...Although i DID have to replace the engine a couple of times! but that was neither here nore there!
