Hey pal!
TZR callipers eh?
I assume its the front ones.
I'm almost certain that you can get sum at a breaker round 'ere!
I got a set of rear callipers for 20 quid and I saw a few front ones
for the same price!
Whats up the the ones you have?
C ya!

i got 2 front calipers, didn't specify front cos thats all my old dear has got  , The ones i have got are well seized. I can't get the pistons out for love nor money and even if i could get them out i can't get a service kit except for perhaps the oe yamaha one which would probly cost more than my bike !. So thats the problem with the ones i have got  I'm no purist so i wouldn't be arsed what i got a caliper from as long as it would fit my forks (oh except 4 the fact i have new pads for the proper tzr caliper :? )

Mmmmm...
Can't get the pistons out eh?
Is the hose disconnected?
If so, re-connect itand try this...
Take the calipers off the forks, then, with the hose on, bleed it and wait for the piston to
pop out!!!
Should work unless the pistons are completely seized!
You might have to take some wet n dry on them if they do come out.
I'd just replace the seals after that!
I got sum about 2 weeks ago for 15 quid at the dealers!
I struggled getting my pistons out... in the end, I thought I'd
killed them!!!
Now they work well!

tried it once and didn't like it........well more like 100 times really they are WELL seized and will not pump out so no hope there!?! like you say tho if i did get them out i would need seals and they would cost a bomb for genuine yammy ones and i can't find pattern anywhere??!!
Cheers anyway tho

Yo mellers!
yeah nikster is right - i had the same problem - my front caliper was binding quite badly and i hd to puch the bike for a mile or so which killed me!!! In the end i tried to beeld them but the nipple was blocked - managed to get the nipple unblocked and bled them, then i slowly but surely pumped the pistons out! I had already bought the EBC pads too! madness! I did this without a lever too! it hurt but i somehow managed it with me mate luckily enuff - i didnt pop the pistons right out cos i was too tight to buy the seals etc and thought i would **** them up anyways. i cleaned up the part of the pistons i could see with oil and very light grade wet n dry - they work really well now altho i stil have a very slight drag when they get warm - pain but they are just about usable for next to nothin!
i did try to replace the calipers but nowhere has them like you say - then i saw a picture of my mates FZ600 and fook me if they havent got 2 identical front calipers to that of a TZR125!!! i think anyways! they look the same altho obviously one is the rong side of the forks

can't pump em out tho'............not at all! this is why i'm havin trubbles.
The only option left is that i am gonna borrow a slide hammer and try and whip em out with that :? hopefully they will then come out and i can put in my new seals! i bought them from motorcycle city (oops sorry "RIOSSI") for £12! £12 for four bluddy rubber rings! Oh well will let u kno how it goes when i get round to it.
