New bloke in Chelmsford.

Just joined, my son getting a moped prompted me to get another bike myself after a (too) long absence. So I'm now the proud owner of a Yamaha MT03 :love1 to compliment my son's MotorHispania Furia moped .

Used to be in the bike trade, and was a professional mechanic to a race team for several years.

I also used to do Enduros - absolute crap at it but enjoyed myself.

It's nice to be back ! :grin2

we all know theres more suzukis than anything else, but i also think us chelmsford lot are starting to take over aswell, its funny tho cos none of the chelmsford lot i know have a suzuki lol

It was a grass track racing team, the motorcycle workshop I worked for sponsored them and I was part of the deal.

They were also sponsored by Weslake (engines) Frank Thomas (leathers, boots and gloves), Izumi (chain), Stadium (Helmets) etc.

The rider was Nick Radley and the passenger Chris O'Connell - they were British 500 cc sidecar champions for 3 years out of the 4 I was involved, and 10th in the European Chamionships several times.

It was a good laugh, I particularly enjoyed travelling into Europe to Holland, Germany etc and racing there - the atmosphere was great.

Its the closest bike shop to me! lol And despite the fact that they were ****e when i bought a bike off them I couldnt be assed to ride to Gerikes for some luuube! :) ha ha

yea i know what you mean, My Falco may have to be looked at soon, but even though there a Prillia dealer they won,t be getting it !
wanted a simple part last week and they wanted a VIN no, phoned another dealer and it was in the post that night, no fuss.
