Ive only gone and put a deposit on a sexy newish (2004) machine today....
Full details will be revealed next week, but a just to get your appetite going..
She wears Marchesini wheels, is the same sized engine as my 750ss, has fully adjustable suspension, a single seat, is red, and cost me a hell of a lot of money (in fact it cost more than a very low milage 56 plate 636) I hope nobody in my family wants a christmas present.
I think we should arrange a ride to NWH next wednesday so everybody can have a peek.

Close, but no cigar.
I did want a 748, but after sitting on one i didnt really like the shape of the tank.
I dont actually like all this making people guess so.....
Righty, its a 749s monoposto. Woo f'ing hoo!!! I dont think ill sleep until next monday when I collect her!
Its a brilliant bike, plenty enough power for me (110hp, 78 torques) and more style than you can shake a stick at. I got a completely standard S model, so i can choose any mods that i want doing.
Ill try and get a pic up soon, i only have one at the moment.

erm. welll... dont tell my mum, shed kill me. or any of my family that arent getting christmas prezzies cos im poor. or the bank manager, but she set me back a fiver under £5k.
I could have got a newer one cheaper privately, but then i would have had the hassle of selling my bike, and ive got a 6 month warranty included.
Good news though campers. Insurance is only £110 more than my 750ss, even though she is much more desirable to theives, and has 50% more power!!

Thanks for the comments guys. You should all be able to see her in the flesh soon.
The waiting is killing me. I don't think I can wait another week.
As for the sidesand thing, ive heard about that and its a very heavy bike to pick up if it does go wrong. There is a mod that you can get which solves this. Just have to decide if its more important than an open clutch cover!!

I ride my current one, just not very much.
As long as any problems appear before next may i dont mind, the warranty will cover it. Anyway, when it looks that good, it could be nice to sit at the side of the road for a while and see how many crashes it causes ;)

Dream bike mate, so sorry I sold my 919 now. May you ride safe and long dude.
You won't regret it, and forget that old ******** about the side stand I never had an issue with mine and that wasn't modded.
:clap
