I dont know if this is the right place to put these but im sure one of the powers that be will move it if not.

But anyway, did my second Track Day on Saturday (1st was Donington, Ladies day but no photographer turned up) So have just got our pics up on the pc. Was a focused event so usual photographer was there and one of my dads mates was there with her cameras too but havent seen what she's got yet. Heres what we do have so far....

And a note to start.... I did NOT like Brands Hatch as a track, the sheer number of blokes there was pretty scary too, the other girl there with us gave up after lunch, it was pretty scary for us and not feeling too happy with the track meant i was pretty slow as a whole but i enjoyed it myself and i will ask right now that noone, and i mean NOONE even bothers telling me what im doing right or wrong in the pics, Im not interested in a critical breakdown of my riding coz i was really uncomfortable on that track, i just want to share the pictures.

Take me to Donington tho and i feel like i can fly, i mean i beat my dad round on his R1 so cant complain really, just really couldnt feel comfortable on Brands!

Thank you

good on you for going in the first place Sarah, if you think back to how nervous you were when you came on that ride with me and Dave from BP to the White Hart just after you'd got back on after your crash, and think that some people wouldn't even get back on let alone get on the track, then you should be feeling ****ing proud of yourself :clap

and well done for sharing the pics :clap

i loved Brands from the off but that's just me, I hate Mallory and other people can't get enough of the place :grin2

I'd have to say you were brave to even book a trackday in December

And trackdays are all about enjoying yourself not how fast you go compared to others.

Good on ya!!

Yeah was so lucky with the weather stayin dry right till the end. Went out past Brands the next day (in the car thank f***) with dad and it was hammering down and the wind was actually pushing the frontera across the lanes, me n dad just looked at each other and went "Thank f*** its todays weather not yesterdays"

Yeah one of his growing collection of track bikes, show off, he's done 5 track days now and got the S-rad, an R1 and his orig R6, just HAD to get the R1 coz it was cheap and his S-rad wouldnt pass the noise test at one of the tracks and he'd blown the R6's engine. lol

Lookin at my own Trackbike soon, a mate of Ross's wrote of his CBR, slightly newer than mine, Cat C write off, wants an offer, Dads seen and recons it'll take bout £500-600 to get it track ready for next year.

Thanks for all the messages, Im so pleased that i actually got back on the bike and got out on the track, its a great feeling, I was terrified of Donington, it really freaked me out with the whole fear factor of knowin that i'd come off once and it was easy to do, was so scared of pushing the bike, but once i got the hang of it i was outbreaking and over taking dad on his new R1, Brands just wasnt the track for me, will just keep going next year and see if anything can match Donington, but its the home of Download, and a great track so cant see it happening! haha :laugh2:laugh2

Thanks all, i cant wait for summer, esp if i have a seperate toy to play on, get a few more days under my belt, but dad said i'll have to start payin for my own days soon, spoilsport! haha, maybe i need a sugar daddy to pay for a possibly expensive hobby like trackdays. :grin2:grin2

Tut, Filth, Im far too innocent for comments like that  :grin2

Ummm, anyway..... no Mr Troutslayer, i think your kinda time on the track might be a little more expensive than mine so i'd have more luck gettin him to keep payin for mine. lol.

And maybe im pushing just hard enough (Oi! KEEP IT CLEAN!) without pushing my luck to the point of meeting the kitty litter up close and personal :laugh1

Anywho, ive just got in from work so beddy byes for me :)

As if !:grin2

Anyway, everyone has there own limits, you push as far as your comfortable, then the next time you will push a bit farther without knowing !..........if your upright and happy, thats all that matters:clap
