For various reasons, Alec (Robbocop) has been quiet on here for quite a while but never the less here was one of the early EB ers and a fair few of you know him.

So it is with great regret that I have to inform everybody that Alec passed away last weekend at the age of 35 as the result of a brain tumour.

He leaves a wife (Debby) and a two year old daughter.

RIP Alec.

I am on the understanding the funeral is next wednesday (12th).

I think all our thoughts will be his wife and young at a terrible time. I for one will think of them over the holiday period.

If we can confirm the date, I would turn up. That would depend on his families wishes obviously.

Thats very sad.
I had to go to the funeral of a close workmate yesterday, who died age 53, leaving 2 kids behind, and that was sad enough.
to go at 35 is so unfair, on both him and his family.
RIP.

I think some are invited but strictly no leathers or bikes. His wife hated bikes. I'm sure perilous or someone will know more.

I think you perhaps mean Robocobb (not Robocop) who mostly spent his time hilariously thinking of different ways to kill me, at the same time he was a great guy who gave me exellent advice, i was going to post about what happened to all the oldies.. but reading his profile im lost as to what happened here?

Anyone care to explain as i didnt have any part in this?

RIP.. And condolences to his family :(

No disrespect meant obviously... im quite upset by this, those who knew him would know the 'fiend' that went on between us, but through the msn we were good friends.. and at the same time, i thought the bloke left for personal reasons and although is obviously a bad time to ask.. i apologise but i do miss the bloke..:(...

Even that incredibly large forehead of his:laugh1 (if you dont understand that dont post about it!):grin2

I've had my father in law, Nan and two friends die in the 4 weeks before Alec so I'm a bit funeraled out at the moment,:( sorry I should have put the details up.

Alec's funeral is on Wednesday 12th at 2.30 at Langford Church.

As has already been said most of us round here have known Alec more from the gamekeeping and shooting side of things and have never really though of him as a biker so it won't be a bike orinetated funeral.

For anyone who does want to go and doesn't know this area very well it's probably easier to look at this web page rather than try to decipher Polden directions.:grin2

Well he had a good send off. There were far too many people there to fit in the church.
