Clutching at straws now, my boots have started to wear out, and although still wearable.. i think its about time for a new pair..

I believe what i currently have are Duchinni Falcon's like these

Im not into the whole 'toe sliders' or anything like that so am wondering if anyone can reccommend a good pair of touring boots..

Size 12/13 (Prefferably 13).

Had a search on fleabay and came across these..

Yep i'd go for those as well if i was in the market for that kind of boot, pay a bit more & protect your feet, i get the feeling that judging by the price of those they wont help you out much in the event of a spill....Hopefully you wont have one but just in case....get the best boots you can afford....

try diadora's waterproof boot. They sell them at john's of romford for £100 and they are 100% waterproof and have reinforcement on the ankle toe heel shin and a good tough sole. only thing you may not like is the 2 plastic buckles on the side

A fair selection to pick from, but all I will say is, be careful with the sizing. The Akito boots both show an incorrect size conversion guide. UK 12 is equavalent to EU 47. If you buy any marked EU46 and claiming to be a UK 12 you will most likely find them too small as that is the US size 12, not UK 12 as I have found to my cost.
I use Heine Gericke Streetline boots, marked UK 12 - EU 47, that I bought off eBay last year for £20 (used).
