Well, Ive finally got some pics of my new bike.
Not the best pics yet, but I will get more soon I'm sure.

I have bought a couple of things so far: an open clutch cover with red pressure plate and black collars and also a belt cover with a window. I am also on the lookout for a fancy exhaust. I have found a couple that I'm interested in, the cheapest being £900.

Done.
And I am swaying towards Temi's, but there is a new manufacturer called Zard that people are raving about. Apparently have better quality and sound than the Termi, but not the prestige.
I get my bonus paid next week, so I have a week to think about what I'd like.

AA.
That question took longer than I expected to arrive.

the 999s did. The 749s has fully adjustable Showa front and rear, with the forks having low friction TiN treatment. Also adjustable rake angle, footrests, seat and tank. It also has a ride height adjuster fitted as standard.
More good news aswell, Ive just bought the Termignoni asymmetric system seen here (http://www.ducatistore.co.uk/acatalog/Ducati_749S_Performance_Parts.html) (third one down) and a power commander. Cant wait for them bad boys to arrive.
booming sounds!
very nice!
cheaper than the zard then!
Too many trick bits for that ducati are gonna dent the wallet.
Very addictive!

I could have got a Zard for £900 second hand, but I still like Termi's for their association with Ducati. (and I got the Termi's for a reasonable-ish cost)
I try not to think of the cost. Looking through the internet Ive found a brand new (2006 model) zx10r or gsxr600 k7 for about what Ive paid so far!!
Ducati with termis are in the bible man!:laugh1
Wouldnt worry about the cost its a dessi ffs and they spin a few heads!
Rather have something different than the same ol same ol!

I think thats why I stay single. I was always told if its got wheels or a skirt you cant afford it, so I cant have both.
998s is an amazing bike! I dont think i could handle one of them, and being 22 my insurance company would rather I stayed clear of anything that powerful.
Which madels do you have? I want to get some for my desk. Ive seen one that you can remove the fairings on and even the engine etc is very detailed. Pretty fly that one.

So very true!
Stay single!
A lot less aggro!
Money in ya pocket too!
This is the nearest I will get to owning a ducati for some time!

Nice bike...
I was 'nearly' tempted to cross to the 'other' Italian manufacturer when I saw a black 999S with a red frame in Parkies a while back, only 'nearly' though...:grin2

Ive fitted my first fancy piece today. Its my open clutch cover.
It was so easy to do, probably took about 35 mins including removing and replacing fairing. It looks so cool, and sounds so sweet. Like a tumble drier full of spanners - just like a Ducati should sound.
These pics are poop, they were taken on my mobile becuase my cam batteries are dead.
