another engine

does anybody know where i can source another engine for my 98 gsxr 600 and preferably local and not ebay and what would be best done to the motor before i put it in. ie,shims,camchain etc.thanks

pretty sure you could fit a 750 engine too
(opens up the options on what you can find)

lol i had a spare srad engine, when i sold the bike i gave them the engine for nothing, ill ask gaz tho the guy i sold it to to see what he wants from it
