Most nights I sit indoors bored.......

But tonight is Christmas Eve, so instead I'm........sitting indoors bored, we were supposed to be going out, meeting friends, few beers at the club all that good stuff, but both of us have stinking colds, so neither of us felt up to going :(

.....Think I'll get myself off to bed soon, my eyes are streaming so much I am having trouble seeing the screen.....and the wifes chest hurts, might have to see if I can find something to rub on that!

The wife and kids are both run down with bugs, so hopefully they will all be up feeling better later. The youngest was awake at 4am (it's now 5.50) and she is nagging the life outta me to open the presents but i've told her to wait till the others are up.

I remember the days when the kids were up at 03:00am wanting to open presents. You'll look back fondly on these days, I know at the moment you wish they would sleep so that you can.

I am first up this morning, ( I still feel like crap, I got up 'cos I couldn't stop coughing ) but then my kids are 18 & 20, & are unlikely to surface much before lunch, its nice to have a bit of quiet time to do what I want to do, rather than what I ought to do 'cos its Christmas day :grin1 .......logging on here would be frowned upon today for instance. I think i can hear the wife moving about I think she will be down soon.

I reckon you have "Man Flu" an illness women do not understand as they do not have to got through it. If a woman gets flu they can still carry on with everyday life where as a man is totally incapacitated and is only just able to breath unaided.
You girls out there just be thankful you are not a man and have to suffer as we do.
