Hi all,

I am Didi, living in London. I relocated from Austria to London / Barking few months ago and am now looking to get a bike again.

I am 27 and ride motorbikes since I am 20. My "bikehistory" contains ...
+ '94 Kawa Ninja 900
+ '01 Yamaha R1
+ '04 Suzi GSX-R 600

Unfortunately I had to sell my Suzi before relocation because it was to heavy for Ryanair's luggage restrictions :laugh1 . But I think I have to buy one soon ...

I am a fanatic Streetbike and SuMo rider, love to party and to meet people. So if there are some parties, meetings or any other events are coming up ... bring it on.

Btw: Can anybody of you tell me where I can buy a cheap bike (to start I dont want to use a lot of money). I am looking for a Streetbike (or a Nakedbike) or a Supermoto. Price should not be more than 1,5k.

Hi Didi,
Just wanted to say welcome to the forum, and wlecome to Essex.
As for a bike, look around the local papers, and that famous auction site. Plenty of bargins to be had on decent bike this time of the year.

Sorry Ride-or-die, i did not mean AustraLia ... i meant Austria - this with the mountains, not with the Kangoroos :reading.

I am looking for a streetbike (like GSXR or CBR ... but would also take a naked one like Hornet or Fazer) or a Supermoto (but no Smallies with 125cc ... schould be 450 or more).

Hey Guvnor, funny enough ... let me tell you a story:

Me and some mates watched a Supermoto race in Austria. On our way back the KTM Riders wanted to look at the factory in "Mattighofen" (you should know that - your bike was born there). But what happend directly at the main entrance? The Adventure broke down :clap:laugh1 ... and it was sunday ... so nobody was there. He tried to fix it again - but no way - then he wanted to :shooter it. Luckily a mechanic came along because he forgot something in the factory. 90 mins later we were on the road again.

So KTMs like to break down - no matter when - no matter where. My mate said that his bike just wanted to stay at his birthplace ...

But I like KTMs ... I can have a lot of fun with them. But only if I have another bike to ride in case the KTM does not work.

A friend of mine rides a '97 VTR ... this is just great fun. And its very noisy - which is good :laugh2. But I have not decided yet ... we'll see.

Does anyone of you have an idea what this would cost? (just roundabout ... I'll get the exact quote from the insurer if time is coming).
