Guy I used is pretty good, my mates use him for there dirt bikes, and he is ex BMW, so has some experience with Rotax engines. job just turned into a bit of a bigger one than expected, £500 inc MOT, Tyre, oil. but still a bit of a shocker!!
Don,t usually put my bikes into a workshop, generally do my own stuff, just didn,t fancy taking this one on. sorta glad I didn,t when I saw how much stuff he had to take apart!
would deffo give Mick a go, just wanted someone who knew Rotax engines for this job.

you didnt use Southern Cross? :D

my valve service, new chain and sprockets, full suspension setup and airbox conversion cost at least £100 less than that! :D

No, but I did think of them, just a long way, with the oil pressure light coming on at tickover i would have had to van it there.
Took it to Rieds in Chelmsford. tyre MOT and oil would be around £150,
I got the oil pump rotors and gasket from In Moto- very good service.
so labour around £350, more than I expected, but depends on the work involved, seems he had to flush the engine etc, i,ll no more when I pick it up.
also stuck some part worn pads from one of there bikes in one side for free, to get it through MOT, so seems pretty resonable guy.
