Here is a poem I wrote for my 'chosen family' - It came from the heart and has since been put to music by another good friend of mine that i met through bikes - and i'm proud to say we sang it at the last get together we had - the weekend after New Year! - Hope you like?

MY FAMILY........YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.....XXXXXXXX

What lies beneath my weary soul,
My aching heart; My lackless goal?
What keeps my head and heart alive?
My soul in warmth;
My life to thrive?

The people in my world 'tis true,
the special ones - in fact - like you!
You fill my heart with hope and light,
to make it through the long dark nights.
A smile; a look; a word of cheer,
that makes me glad that you are near.

The distance felt; but can't divide;
the bond from which we need not hide;
My world is richer with you in;
A richer time has never been,
For now I can be truly me;
the person that you know - you see;

In chosen family and wealthy home.

LOL Dan! - there are LOADS of rallies - all over the country - including some really local ones - mostly going on between April and October - so anytime you wanna go party just hollar and i'll let you know whats on and where - alternatively - check out the diary pages on bikersweb - wouldn't usually mention another site on here but the diary pages on www.bikersweb.co.uk have most rallies listed - together with prices; locations; dates; links to the particular club sites etc so proves very handy for planning the years' fun and games! lol Thought some of the pics would grab your attention!

Spider - let me know if you're only going for one night as I have my ticket - but sadly am only gonna make it for one night - haven't decided if its gonna be the Friday or Sat. yet - but I have to ride over to Bristol the same weekend to attend another gathering at some stage - Will probably make the Celtics Friday and then ride on on the Sat. - Sods Law that two great get togethers are on at the same time - but the other one has people coming from Scotland that I dont get to see that often - as well as being a get together for some of my new 'sisters'.........I've associated to an all female M.C!!!!!!!!!!! - (WITW for anyone who knows of them?!)

Anyhow - have a great birthday - the Celtics will certainly provide a great venue to celebrate - many of the pics posted on this thread were taken at this same rally last year!!!!!!! :wink:

Add to this my commentating and several shindigs organised by the bikersweb chaos crew - together with as many race meets as I can squeeze in and thats my summer organised! lol

I just love my life sometimes!!! All we need now is a blazing hot summer and life is looking A1.

Oh! - and by the way - I wasnt on line the other night - I was downstairs and had set my msn to appear off line - My connection must have dropped out for a sec and then reconnected - (Mine and Abbs pc's are networked and it does that sometimes!) - Just in case you thought i was ignoring you!

Let me know the other race dates and i will try to work something out ok?
