Try Evotech for tail tidies, stronger than R&G

Cheers fella!

I paid £3,300 for the bike, including the Akrapovic Titanium can. Could have got it a bit cheaper without it (£200 quid
ish, so was going to ask him to take it of tbh), but it sounds so sweet with it on so I wanted to keep it. Plus everyone has said what a good can it is, i've looked and they are like £400 quid new! for a can!

Anyway, its got around 9,600 miles on the clock erm, 2002 model, smartwater etc. thats about it really. Oh and its got a rear hugger and RnG shrooms. Pretty much standard really, just as I wanted.

Bad points:
Theres about a 2inch scratch on the screen which isnt really a problem, as i'm going to get a black double bubble for it, and i've just noticed a repaired scuff on the front cowling which I didnt see when i bought it, but its not noticible unless you are right up by it. Again, thats only about an inch big and surface paint only but has been painted to cover it up. May do something with it, but its not really worth it... you cant see it really.

That gaming chair is brilliant. I bought Sega Rally for the 360 a while back and that chair makes the game so much better. It's a Pyramat S2000, the sub in the back of it is mental!

Nah - he said that was normal for the 2002 model. The additional weight of the lettering ruins the handling apparantly. It wont stop popping wheelies being so heavy on the back.

I also noticed that the last 2 numbers on the VIN have been scratched off so I couldnt have got it HPI'd anyway. He said that was something to do with the weight distribution or the centre of gravity or something like that...

He said it was all fine anyway, and perfectly normal. Told me not to bother with an HPI, waste of money he said.

But dont worry, he printed me off a V5 when I bought it so its all sound.

Hi, nice bike. If i can recall correctly, these bike are a pain in the ass to fit aftermarket undertrays due to the seat lock and other bits related to the origional tacky black undertray. A neat trim of the std black plate holder is the easiest i believe.

Tis a wicked bike matey - glad you got another one - when i get some money i will start the search for my next bike! ;)

dam you and your need for another bike so soon - i was plannign on saving up for a while till you decided what you wanted or went off the idea. I sold the gixxer and said to Emma that I wouldnt get another bike till you sorted something out which would give me at least 3 months - now i gotta get saving or sell stuff so i can get another one! you git lol!

its all your fault - I got rid of my bike, then you got another one straight away so your missus cant say its my influence for a change LOL!!

;)

Dan

Cheers fella.

To be honest, if this one hadnt come up I reckon it would have been a couple of months. It's so hard to find decent bikes this time of year, especially older ones in good nick.

And Vic does blame you, I told her you found the bike and said to me it would be a crime not to buy it. basically, the peer pressure from you forced me to buy it ;)

So what you looking at getting?

FingerZ!
05-02-2008, 09:59 PM
LMAO!!

you know thats not true you bastid lol!

hmmmm im not sure what im gonna get......have to see what comes up when i got some money eh?! thinking about borrowing some dollar off me missus or my parents - how sad is that?! now you got yours i cant wait to get something - car insurance and tax and bike insurance renewal (pending new bike of course) in the next 2 months, so if i can save that money or maybe get at some long-term savings, i will get something V soon hopefully.

watch this space! :)

P.S - i told my missus that getting another bike was YOUR influence! ....she agreed!

lovely bike m8. I had a brand new cbr600f in 2003 and then another in 2005 after 1st one got written off and although both were lovely bikes and served me well I wish I'd got a sport model as I've seen a few loons on trackdays almost getting their elbows down on them :rockon

Dan
08-04-2008, 06:32 PM
